Tape Surface Vision Inspection Machine

This tape surface vision inspection machine is suitable for on-line inspection of continuous injection molded and uncut sheet tapes. Using self-developed image processing technology, it automatically identifies and calculates the dimensions and pitches of key units such as positioning holes, carrier tape pockets, and inner pocket holes. It also inspects for foreign objects on the tape surface and burrs inside holes. Upon detecting a defect, it issues a red or yellow light alarm based on severity to notify the operator and saves the image of the defective product to an external storage device for subsequent QC analysis.
Features
- Stable image capture and processing speed, up to 30 frames per second, supporting tape production speeds up to 800mm/sec.
- Maximum image resolution up to 1920x1080, with a resolution of 40um/pixel, effectively revealing tiny defects.
- Minimum required capture and processing speed can be calculated from tape production speed; warnings are issued if speed is insufficient to avoid missed inspections.
- Automatically calculates pocket, positioning hole, and inner hole dimensions and compares them with user-set specifications, reporting dimension defects in real-time.
- Automatically calculates relative distances between pockets, positioning holes, etc., and compares them with user-set specifications, reporting pitch defects in real-time.
- Provides 11 completely independent defect inspection items. Can inspect areas like tape surface, pocket surface, outer holes, or inner holes separately. Dirt filter brightness and area can be set to reduce false positives.
- Simulation and classification function with 500 tape images assists in adjusting vision parameters, increasing reference reliability.
- Automatically generates production reports recording dimension defects, pitch defects, and occurrences of the 11 defect types. Defect images are saved to external devices in real-time for QC tracking and process improvement.
- All defect items can be designated as major or minor defects. During operation, red or yellow lights provide immediate warning and alarms, helping on-site personnel quickly judge defect severity.
- Independent window displays major and minor defects, with adjustable zoom capability for inspection review.
